The May bargaining session completed Thursday. After three days of discussions your Negotiating Team (NT) and Management were able to come to terms and sign a single Tentative Agreement on the Health Insurance article. Little else was achieved.

Reinforced by a strong Member showing at the Company roadshow, your NT was hopeful coming into this round of negotiations. System-wide our Flight Attendants voiced loud and clear directly to Management how important quality of life issues like trip-trades and duty days are for our workgroup.

At the Sandford meeting Kris Bauer commented to Debra Petersen-Barber, “You’ve been heard.” This statement did not translate to movement at the table.

By the end of the second day of discussions the Company had yet to make mention of these important topics. Your TWU Negotiators finally brought it up and Senior Management confirmed they were not willing or able to move from their position.
